  1. 4. GETS PERSONAL
I have learned over these past years that every new group of students is different. Every child have different surroundings, family types, upbringing, among other characteristics and for me, this is a "must do": In order to create a healthy relationship with our students we must get familiar with their learning styles, this will help teachers to design a tailored program that fulfill student´s needs as well as develop some hidden talents in our students and make them work as a team. In that way, some kids with organizational skills will be sourceful when it comes to plan extracurricular activities; Others may be consumed artists that will enjoy creating theme-based class decoration, boards, presentations, etc., and children with scientific and literary interests will do outstanding performances in science fairs, bees and reading presentations and essays.
Get to know our students and their eagerness for new posibilities to acquire high-quality learning is an effective "must do" every school year!

  2. "Makes a Difference", i believe its amazing how can we create a huge impact on our students. I liked the quote that said, "With great power, comes great responsibility". As teachers we have a great responsibility when students are in our classrooms, we need to make sure that they feel safe, loved... We need to show that we care about them. We never know what our students have been through before entering our classroom or what they are going through when they get home. Sometimes just a smile will be enough for them, we need to make a difference and go that extra mile for these students!

If you enjoy teaching and feel passionate about it, you´ll always be up for the onerous, challenging and demanding task teaching is. You will not just overcome any challenge but, will do it with a smile. And more certainly you´ll be able to inspire and get inspired! -Lucy-

  3. 2. Makes a difference:

Currently, there exists research indicating that the quality of teachers and teaching is the most important to explain the results of students factor, teachers vary in their efficacy differences between the results of students they are higher within the own school between schools, teaching is a demanding job and for this a teacher who really effective is required.

A good teacher can change the performance of the average child and bring it to 10% higher performance, while a bad teacher; the same child can make it back considerably. Having a bad teacher can be devastating,

Therefore, the good practices that are required to make students in class, is what will make a difference in the embodiments and generate highly significant levels in student learning. To generate the maximum impact, they must be integrated into the curriculum, lest they look like something episodic or isolated.

The good teacher has to have 5 professional fundamental characteristics:
    - Professionalism
    - Leadership
    - Thought
    - Planning
    - Relationship

I think also to be a good teacher, besides having these characteristics, this has to have high expectations of their students, that is, can not go with bad thoughts and negative, and to inform the students also have to While planning lessons, setting a clear framework and objective of each lesson, using a variety of techniques and appropriate methodology for each case, engage the students, have an order and organization within the class, and that chaos is the most negative and disruptive in a classroom, because it prevents teach rewarding way to spend time and resources wisely, promote good and effective learning activities, and use a wide range of assessment methods to monitor the compression process, work and the final outcome of the students.
If teaching is good and powerful, and if possible working conditions and support that practice, then you could have immediate evidence of what students learn. Although learning is something that can not be measured, we would very much like to "measure".
The "professional capital" of each teacher at each school working together is the main asset to transform teaching and the need to care and increase it.

As a final conclusion, I must say that the teacher, whether good or bad, 80% is to blame for the qualification and results remove the child / a, as its methodology, techniques and their teaching will be a very important factor in learning of their students.

A good teacher must conform to its students should get to know everyone and know that starting point of each child in order to "measure" has learned far as each person is different, and is not the same as a child that starts from 0 and end of course get to know 8 a child that starts from June and end of course get to know 8 because they had the same basis, and the first has done considerably more effort.
So the teacher should take that into account, as I mentioned before, the good teacher must meet each and every one of their students and know how far they can get, which is going to put goals and objectives intended to achieve each One, because all are not equal.

    Greetings to all!!

  4. Makes a difference

Developing quality relationships with students is of upmost importance to their healthy development. Teachers do make a difference. Teachers must have strategies, guidelines, and real-life examples of how to build and enrich close and trusting teacher-student relationships. This includes:
    • Setting high expectations for students
    • Conveying confidence in student capabilities
    • Creating classroom traditions
    • Networking with family and community
    • Developing strong interpersonal skills
    • Identifying relational resources
    • Communicating appropriate caring and respect in the classroom

Healthy connections with teachers are associated with a decrease in behavioral problems and an increase in social and academic skills. The relationships we mature with our students are at the core of how we make a difference.

  5. SPREADS POSITIVITY.

I like this habit is very interesting because as educators we should always transmit energy, joy, positivity in our class rooms n don’t matter how many problems we have, we must leave them at the door and not let the negativity of other people interfere in our work.

And do not forget to use the mask of superheroes, because that we are for them and not let our problems affecting them and that depends on us how we impact on their lives.

  7. GET PERSONAL

This is the most important part of being an effective teacher.
We as a teachers have the responsability to make a program that can fullfil their skills and abilities in which they interested and develop all kinds of knowledge they could have.
No two students are like two drops of water. For young people the situation is more complex: they are full of thought, sometimes negative, preventing them concentrate and follow the teacher's speech. The good teacher demonstrates ability to care about the feelings of others, to know why they think this or that way in order to advise them. Ask them how they feel after a period of work, it can serve to explore the emotions of students.
This attitude has favorable effects on student learning, because they see the teacher committed to his goals and collaborate knowing that the success of it is yours.
interest and interact with them is one of the best ways to learn to understand not leaving out communication between parents and that they should be aware of both, problems and achievements of their children.

  12. I believe that MAKES A DIFFERENCE is my favorite, because when I was a student all my teachers and my family tried their hardest to make a difference in my studying and in my life. That is one of the things that made me become a teacher so I can make a difference to my students, especially in the area of learning disabilities because nowadays the parents only see the negative part of the learning disability the child has and it’s hard for some parents to give them all the attention the child needs so I do my best to make difference and give them all I learned to deal with their problems. Also because as it says in the paragraph we don’t know what problems the children have at home, we have to be positive all the time and make them feel special at all times, so that they see that they can get anywhere they want to get at all times.

  13. 1. Enjoys Teaching
I remember my school favorite teachers and the ones I dreaded having. So analyzing my favorite teachers they were the effective ones, the ones that motivated and cared for me, the ones from which I learned in a very happy and positive way. The habit that stand out the most was that she enjoyed teaching which in my opinion enjoys teaching habit fills most of the habits stated. Every day when she entered class with a shinny smile, she was excited to start teaching, she filled the class with happiness and her energy was contagious. Everybody was paying attention and ready to learn.
I believe that you should love what you do and if it is teaching, you should have all the habits listed so you can mark and make a difference in every life you teach. Students become part of your family since you spend around 8 hours a day with them so as an effective teachers cares and wishes the best for each one of them. An effective teacher should be passionate for teaching since there are so many discouraging factors that can bring you down . Students have a big alert and they know when teachers are good so they will spot a fake teacher and destroy the any credibilty that the teacher may have.
Teachers that love what they do will make the best of students, plan dynamic classes, encourage and motivate students, be the best they can be! I love teaching and making a difference in a childs life!

  14. Enjoy Teaching is definitely one of the most important habits, it is connected with the other ten habits. When we enjoy what we do, we commit ourselves with the big responsibility we have, in this case, our students, by making a difference in their lives, giving them the support they need, knowing their interests and connect with them individually. To make this happen, we must be open-minded to any situation that could come on the process, making the change an opportunity for new technique in our teaching process, giving 100% in all aspects, been organized at all time, having standards to stimulate our students to try their best. And of course some inspiration from books, blogs, and others will help us to have a variation of ideas to have an effective teaching. If we make an effort by practicing all this habits, certainly we'll see a big diference in our classroom.

  17. "Makes a difference"

As teachers we have a big responsability with our students. For students teachers are their role models. Since they are small, we need to teach them values. Showing them a smile, giving them a hug makes a big difference on their lives because we don't know how is the environment at their homes. As teachers we need to create them a safe and lovely environment.

  18. I believe that all of the habits are important, and lots of teachers have accomplished others thorough out the years of experiences they have had. Teachers have good and bad habits, but as time passes great teacher mastered great habits, but the t most important for me, is the first one. Enjoy teaching. If teachers enjoy what they do, they feel passionate about teaching their students; they feel motivated to always continue trying new activities or strategies. Every day they try to give a lot of that positive energy. When you enjoy your work, you don’t feel like an obligation or a job on which you received a salary, beyond that you feel fulfilled because you love your job and want to help your students to overcome difficulties, teaching is never dull, it keeps you thinking constantly. Even when there are days with up and downs, teaching helps you to improve yourself in order to help other, that is why I think they are closely linked with habit number two, because you actually make a difference on your students life because you feel so happy for them when they leave school with decent grades and a mind full of great memories and ready to seek a future.
